Methodology

What this is

m-pest is a world-intelligence platform for executives and producers that continuously observes three layers — macro (countries/regions), industries, and MIXI — through the PESTLE framework.

The goal is to be a central place to understand the world: keeping decision-relevant implications (So What?) visible and sourced.

The PESTLE framework

Each layer is decomposed into six axes, with an attention score (0–5) and findings recorded per axis.

Information architecture

Macro (Japan, Australia, India, USA, Global) / Industry (Games, IT·Web, Apps, AI, Betting, Family — with per-country tabs) / MIXI (the company and its environment) / Cross-cutting themes (talent, BCP, technology, product, revenue, marketing, academia).

Freshness

Every layer carries an updated date and cadence (weekly 7d / monthly 30d / quarterly 90d). The next-review date is derived mechanically from metadata — not from prose — so a layer cannot silently fall out of date.

Sources & verification

Statements are based on public information (official statistics, primary documents, reporting), with a citation attached to each finding. Facts are cross-checked across multiple sources.

Disclaimer

Independent PESTLE analysis of macro, industry and company conditions, based solely on public information. Contains no personal data. Company sections are external analysis drawn from public filings and reporting — not the official position of any company named.
